The San Francisco Bar Association offers a useful toolkit for new solos. It can be found here: http://toolkit.sfbar.org. Maybe someone here will find it useful.

Not bad. It's a bit generic and slapped together but the outline of the three legs of the stool of practice (marketing, law practice, office management) is actually useful.

Back in the 50's your local bar association would hand you a box with the "3 legs of a stool" containing therein a snub nosed revolver, a half finished bottle o' bourbon, and a hand me down suit. If you were lucky, you'd grab a Montblanc pen on the way out.

Ohio State Bar Association publishes OfficeKeeper.

I've found some of their form templates helpful for drafting fee agreements, engagement letters, status letters, etc.
