Anyone here about this company called "Alumni Aid Assistance"?

A relative is a graduate from the University of Phoenix Online and they said that this company called saying that there was a debt forgiveness program specific to Univ. Of Phoenix and that my relative could join this program for a one time payment of $900 if made within the next 5 days.

Obviously this is sounds like a clear scam, I just want to make sure that there is nothing specific to Univ. Of Phoenix ( can't imagine there is and i imagine that my relative would have had to been part of some certified class which raises the question of why they'd pay anything) as my cursory research did not reveal anything and quite frankly I haven't been following the latest news on the student loan "scam". So, anyone know anything?

Sounds like a scam. Did that University of Phoenix degree amount to anything for your relative?

This sounds like a stereotypical advance fee fraud scheme. Everyone knows the classic, "You need to pay 'taxes' to release a large 'inheritance' from a long lost relative." They're targeting Phoenix grads because many are dumb enough to fall for it.
