Why are the deans suddenly urging the bar score be cut?
Are they less competitive with law schools in other states, and seeing a negative affect in the number of bar applicants to CA schools because of how difficult the CA bar exam is. Maybe Whittier law school closing was a real wakeup call to some of these deans that CA better lower the score cut, or other law schools would start falling like dominoes.

Imagine if 40% of grads are sitting in $200,000 of debt and keep failing the bar, over and over. If this story is too prevalent, it will discourage attendance.
