Can anyone suggest interview questions I should ask for a government job interview?

The ones I have written down, I'm afraid they might answer in the interview, but they are.

1. What the hiring time frame is. When do they expect to make a hiring decision

2. Circumstances in which this position, which is NTE 2 years, could get extended

3. How potential budgeting issues could impact the office, or impact the second question I have.

I'm afraid to ask anything related to training, for that would be like me admitting I don't know how to do the job. Is this an incorrect belief on my part?

Also while I imagine this is a team, but lots of individual work, given to me by team members, is there something I should ask about this?

Also, the subject area is something I took multiple classes on in law school, but that was many years ago, and I've forgotten a lot. Should I attempt to talk about the subject area at all?

Focus on job related questions. All your questions make it seem like you’re interested in the “next thing”. Ask question 1 last, after you’ve asked questions that make it look like you’re interested in the work.

Well it's doc review. Could I ask what type of types of matters are the most commonly asked for someone like me to review?

what types is good, also is there priv/redact/qc opportunities...what kind of software they use, if you work on one case at a time or move between cases, what they think are the traits of succesful people in this type of job, what are the challenges people face in the first 90 days...

Ah thanks. The job description lists the software they use, so can't ask that without looking like I'm unprepared, but the other ones, great. Thanks. It specifically mentions there's priv/redactions stuff. There's a couple kinds of priv they do that I'm not familiar with (executive privilege, deliberate process privilege), not sure how much I should read up on those types before the interview, but I'm afraid of overloading myself with info. Just want to know the basics of what their particular office does and my responsibilities, though this would be included.

if you share the ad and/or agency, it would be helpful in determining questions.

An agency that deals with taxes. a doc review job. I'm now even worried about their dress code... I don't want to have to buy a bunch of suits for such a low paying job.

1. If hired, will a safe space be provided for me?
2. Does the prayer room come furnished with a Qu'uran and a prayer rug, or do I have to supply this from home?
3. Are Eid and certain days during Ramadan paid holidays, or will I have to tap into non-accrued PTO?

At what point do you qualify for benefits and do they know if the provided insurance covers gender reassignment surgery?

I sincerely wish you good luck on this. Is this better doc review being it's a 2 year government job?

You obviously have confidence issues and have been beaten down. Put that aside at the interview and project confidence and an eagerness (but not over eagerness) to be there. Don't lie but nothing wrong with a little faking it til you make it either.

At worst if you don't get this you're getting government interview experience which is never a bad thing. And you're not as unemployable as you think since you landed this in the first place. I don't care it's doc review, it is still a government interview. Those seem hard enough to land these days.

Get in the right, positive mindset and put your best foot forward. Sorry of it sounds cliche but it's the best I got.
