Give me a reasonably smart high school senior, and a year of tutoring, and I could get them a passing score.

I passed the NY bar exam in freeze your testicles off Albany before the UBE became a thing.

The only kind of judge I want to be is the ones in wet t-shirt competitions.

Why the hell did i have to take the NY bar in the javits center if she can take it in her own home? wtf? half of the challenge of the bar exam is the conditions. It is REALLY loud when 1000+ people turn the page at the same time. Sounds like an ocean wave.

"After my J1 I realised that there were a lot more opportunities for me in New York. Ireland is so limited," Aoife told Independent.ie.

"I researched American law course providers and came across Barbri, a bar review course which I attended twice a week while working in retail."

LOL, her retail experience will serve her well when she comes to NY and can't find gainful employment as an attorney. At least she probably has little to no debt.

I will say that I admire her sense of adventure and grit. It sounds like she studied very diligently for the exam.

At least she has:
1) Little or no debt
2) 3 years of life not lost on additional law school after her Irish undergraduate law diploma.

Doesn't she need a visa to work in New York? Or is that what the boyfriend is for?

Back in those days, you can read to law to become lawyers. Bunch of famous politicians, judges, and biglaw founders did just that, including Lincoln.

Nowadays, you need to pay 250K just to do doc review...
