barbri does a good job, the key is really to treat the course like a full time job.

Out of state law school. The school has good results on its own state's bar exam.

No insight for NC specific, but I found Barbri to be great. I got Barbri and my wife got Kaplan (I know, overkill). Both of us found Barbri to be the better choice.

I second this opinion. I took Barbri and the PMBR 3-day multistate course and was fine. If you stick to the schedule and follow their instructions, then you should be golden. I took PA, so can't speak as to NC directly, but generally speaking, Barbri would be my choice.

If you go with the 3-day PMBR class, then I highly recommend just going the first day to take the multistate practice exam, and review what you get wrong on your own. There is not a significant need to go for the in-person review. I came in for the two-day review where they go over everything, and the hours were either 8 AM to 4 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM, long day in other words. The person doing the review sounded exactly like the woman from "Office Space" who says, "Someone's got a case of the Mondays." People with that type of personality make me go freaking nuts, so they had breaks about every 60 to 90 minutes, and I bolted at the first break. I just read through the answer key and was fine.

Bought books off jdu in 2013 for barbri and some practice tests. total cost about 400 bucks.

passed first try. don't be fuking idiot wasting money on this crap. barbri is designed to fleece lame ass white people and their retarded boomer parents.

I think they are equal opportunity fleecers with no care as the generation your parents came from.

I would consider purchasing used books, but $400 seems like a rip off given the entire cost of the program and the fact you don't have access to videos or any of the online functions.
