I attended Pace undergrad. Truly one of the looniest leftist hellholes in higher ed.

According to the article this dean cut prof salaries and was able to increase scholarship to students. Furthermore, he has been able to improve BAR passage percentage.

Leave it to the ivory tower professors to remove a man who actually may be objectively doing a good job. Knowing Pace they'll probably hold out for their next dean to be a transgender illegal immigrant latinx of color

Different article, what a legend

"Facing Budget Deficit, Pace Law Decides to Trim Faculty Pay
Pace Law School faculty will take a 10 percent pay cut in the 2015-2016 academic year to help close a budget deficit, Dean David Yassky confirmed. He said the school also will "prudently" reduce its research budget, but declined to provide details on the reduction."

"Faced with news that the zoo was experiencing a budget crisis and that their allotment of bananas would have to be reduced by 10%, the monkeys forced the resignation of the zookeeper."

Apparently the invisible hand of the market should not apply to Law Schools(tm). Cost-cutting for thee, but not for me.

Of course not, the invisible hand is fascist and unfair.

It’s about sacrifice, it’s about coming together, and it’s about serving the down trodden. And when I say “it’s about,” I mean it’s for you, me, and the middle class. The law professors need to be exempted from the sacrifice and from the invisible hand. The government has to supply them with money irrespective of performance, value, or outcome.

Get it straight.
