I’m thinking about getting out of my current industry (alternative finance/ collections) and I applied to a franchise law firm. They called me for an interview and it is on Wednesday. Their job posting said that the associate would be mostly handling franchise disclosure documents and registering trademarks. I’ve never done this before, and wondering what to expect if they hire me and I decide to make the leap.

Does anyone have any experience with this stuff? Is it stressful and is it really technical, or mostly boilerplate?

Thanks, as always, JDU!

For a fee certain, I can give you the information you need. However, after I do, I'll need a percentage of all gross receipts on a going forward basis.

EDIT: My friends that do this practice in boutique
to small firms and make absolute bank. My understanding is it is a lot of contract/ financing type work
