I hit up my $10.99 a month budget gym to get the blood flowing, now at work. Shouldn't get much colder than 7 degrees today. Man do I love law practice though. Nothing is quite as invigorating as getting production goals checked off. I want for nothing.

I thought you were the head/only person in your department. Why did you go into the office? If no one else is there, I'd just leave.

This sounds a bit self-inflicted.

Or am I confusing you with someone else?

No its me. In short, Rome wasn't built in a day. I don't get a salary like a normie. If the process doesn't take off or fails, I make nothing and my bud will politely ask me to leave.

It is self-inflicted in that I should have never quit my job last summer. Oh well.

Vohod (I think that you're vohod), is there no possible way for you to go solo and treat your business like a businessman? You have a business degree and you're good with money. You also don't take the problems of consumer clients too close to heart. I think that you have a way bigger chance of becoming a financially successful solo than most who have made it financially that way had when they started out!

And no, you should have quit that job in the summer. I remember the abuse your boss was putting you through. I remember it very well because I had a boss just like that and when I read your stories, it was as if I was reading about my past life. Believe me, you've done the right thing. I do think that you quit your subsequent PI job way too early, but, that's in the past and you're a way better judge of what happened back there than any of us.

Yes its me. I wasn’t a good fit for PI. I don’t empathize with any of them (arch conservative anti-social justice/Romero Catholic upbringing).

I hate going to court (too bad Im there 4-5 days week). I hate consumer level clients. I hate working at small law firms as an associate.

I’d have stayed until I give up next summer except the opportunity I have now is: I don’t have a “boss,” or nagging-wife style assistants for whom $9.00/hr is overpayment for how much work they create versus complete.
