What a great day for America, and this would never happen but for President Trump.

All hail President Trump!! Not a president we deserved, but needed.

Up to 200 million a year from the taxpayers

Worked great when they paid off Carrier, right?

mostly people in america have no idea how business like this works as there has not been any new industrial activity in a generation. i have seen specs on some big name plants, some equipment was installed 1930s and never replaced. US industry is outdated and someone has to invest. unfortunately it wont be the american companies cause the existing 1930s stuff is already depreciated ten times over so its just operating cost which is high, but they have no finamce costs to speak of. and the numbers dont make sense for wall street bros who own the stock.

good my man. maybe just do the Xmas in america. aren't you in the midwest? heard china will have an investment fund devoted to economically depressed regions in the USA such as the old midwest industrial towns. it may be your town next. its a good thing.

Damn: "Those costs include taxpayer subsidies to the company totalling more than $4.5 billion, the largest subsidy for a foreign corporation in American history. Since Wisconsin already exempts manufacturing companies from paying taxes, Foxconn, which generated a hundred and fifty-eight billion dollars in revenue last year, will receive much of this subsidy in direct cash payments from taxpayers. Depending on how many jobs are actually created, taxpayers will be paying between two hundred and twenty thousand dollars and more than a million dollars per job. According to the Legislative Fiscal Bureau, a nonpartisan agency that provides economic analysis to the Wisconsin state legislature, the earliest citizens might see a return on their Foxconn investment is in 2042."

Poor Wisconsin.

Shsssh whatnext, you'll anger the Wisconsin trumptards.

Actually, scratch that. trumptards are the kind of people who will beat their own dvcks endlessly with a hammer, if only to prove the liberals wrong.

Did you hear about that big beautiful copper mine they're going to open right next to the Boundary Waters. So long to the BWCAW but hey, it will make a few dozen mine owners richer. You know they can operate a lot of the equipment remotely now?

About 1,000 jobs expected by the end of 2020, down from initial estimates of 5,200.

All hail President Trump! God bless subsidies to the wealthy!

Sounds like they’ll never get even close to the 13,000 jobs initially promised. Maybe taxpayers should give them more money?

Everything about trump is a joke and a fraud.

“More U.S. coal-fired power plants were shut in President Donald Trump's first two years than were retired in the whole of Barack Obama's first term.”
