The EA store (Origin) has a sale going on. I just started playing TitanFall 2 and it's a great shooter/mech hybrid.

Snood was the last PC game I played. I was never able to get into it computer gaming. It’s been strictly PlayStation for the last two decades.

I play older games, but the the last new game I played was South Park: The Stick of Truth.

I'm not a huge fan of the show today.. though I watched it a lot in high school/college. The game, however, is hilarious. Too easy though--if you do play it, do it in the hardest mode.

My favorite line is where they are arguing with Clyde about whether the goo is Taco Bell green sauce. “Why do you think that sh!t’s glowing?”. “Maybe because of the three varieties of chili peppers?”

I only play destiny2 right now but I have played, and some are probably still installed, most of the blizzard titles (WoW, D3, SC, HoTS, etc.) Witcher 3 was an epic (recommend 1 and 2 as well). I think I have dark age of Camelot and Everquest still installed lol

My go-to game right now is Crusader Kings II. But the learning curve on the game is ridiculous. You play as the leader of a dynasty in the Middle Ages. There is no set win conditions, but generally the goal is to accumulate power. When you’re character dies, you take over immediately as the next heir in your dynasty. So you’re always trying to make sure your heir has good stats and controlling laws and marriages to make sure you don’t lose power in a succession. You run out of dynastic heirs and it’s game over.

I also like Stellaris which is a game where aliens are fighting over space. Not nearly as high of a learning curve as CKII, but it’s getting there now that they’ve redone how the economy works.

Does CKII have a campaign mode to talk you through at least the early game and mechanics? Sounds interesting.

It has a tutorial. And it might have just been me, but I found the tutorial more confusing than the game. I watched people play on YouTube which is what interested me. The guy I watched was ManyATrueNerd for 3-5 episodes.

I think the best way to learn the game mechanics is to start as a Count. The tutorial starts you as a King with a whole bunch of vassals. It’s easier to figure out vassals mechanics if you start as a Count where vassals don’t matter much. As you accumulate titles, you will have to give away titles (there is a soft but harsh cap if you hold too many counties) and you will get to choose your powerful vassals instead of being thrown into the mix.

Also, after the tutorial, do not start as William the Conquerer as suggested by the game. You won’t be able to conquer England as a novice player.

Nothing atm...my PC died after playing mostly “last gen” games like TF2, SC2, some WoW, CS GO and Diablo 3.

I want a new PC but atm there isn’t anything in very much interested in.
