Trump told American people he would release tax returns when IRS audit was over - did he lie?

"NO CAUSE IT'S NEVER GONNA BE OVER" if y'all holdin' Warren backfromthedead02/07/19

if y'all holdin' Warren's feet to the fire but stay silent about Trump lyin' to the American people about the audit thing, well I guess that makes you an idiot don't it? just sayin'

"Back in 2014, as part of their performance piece about how the IRS was "targeting" conservative groups, the Republican majority on Ways and Means RELEASED the tax information of 51 (that's fifty one) individuals."

"Some of the proposals our Committee is considering this week leave us deeply concerned. We
believe all Americans have a fundamental right to the privacy of the personal information found in their tax returns," the letter read. "This isn't about the tax returns of the presidents and vice-presidents but about making sure Congress does not abuse its authority. This is about PROTECTING the private tax returns of every American."
Brady, the Ways & Means ranking Republican, and Kelly, the subcommittee on oversight's top Republican, added that Democrats "appear willing to sacrifice this critical protection for political gain" and that revealing the president's tax returns would set a "dangerous precedent." "When we start making exceptions for one taxpayer, it begins the process of eroding and threatening the privacy rights of all taxpayers," they wrote. "This is a risk we cannot and should not take."{%22sender%22:%22offer-0-EVtsg%22,%22displayMode%22:%22inline%22,%22recipient%22:%22opener%22,%22event%22:%22resize%22,%22params%22:{%22height%22:124,%22iframeId%22:%22offer-0-EVtsg%22}}
