When Trump gets ousted (by April of course!), then we get President Pence.

How soon before liberals make this argument: President Pence is worse than President Trump because....

(with the most likely explanation that Pence is competent and evil while Trump was incompetent (and ineffective) but evil

Pence ain't that competent; he has a reputation for being a bit dumb, and his ineptitude ruined his political career in Indiana before he jumped on board the Trump train. He just looks competent when compared to Trump.

He looks competent as much as a door man or something. No seriously, he looks borderline.

I guess I'm more worried about Pence because it increases the odds of a massive AIDS outbreak.

You’re afraid that more gay men will have promiscuous unprotected sex just to spite President Pence?

"But the Vice President himself oversaw one state’s worst public health crisis of recent history whilst he was Governor of Indiana: an HIV outbreak fuelled by public healthcare cuts and a ban on distributing clean needles.

In the last seven weeks of 2014, five residents tested positive for HIV in Scott County - a small, rural community which rarely saw more than one new case a year. In just one week in January 2015, eight people tested positive for the virus.

By March 2015, a public health emergency was declared after officials determined the growing number of cases had reached the level of an epidemic. HIV began spreading with terrifying speed among intravenous drug users in this sleepy county. At the height of the crisis, 20 new cases were being diagnosed each week, and nearly 200 people had tested positive by the time the outbreak was finally under control in 2016.

It was Mike Pence’s staunchly Conservative policy positions that seemed to be at at the heart of the epidemic."

Needle Exchange Programs can’t get federal funds. Banned in 1988. Not much he could do To change the status quo on things with the democrats holding a house of Congress.

My liberal parents think he’s worse than trump. I LOL. Pence is homophobic, but a centrist GOPer otherwise. Trump is a legitimate crazy person and probably a white supremacist.

Other than his stance against trade with foreign countries, I don’t have a problem with most of Trump’s policy positions in principle. If Pence became president and tried to pursue those same policies, albeit in a manner that unlike Trump wasn’t idiotic, I’d be fine with that.

Reminder the GOP is the party that likes to investigate and attempt to impeach presidents because they don't like the results of an election. Mueller was appointed by Rosenstein.

Recent Republican Presidents have instituted a program of impeachment insurance by putting in terrible Veeps whom Dems would be loath to put in office. Quayle, Cheney, Pence. McCain tried this too with Palin.
