So they modified the documents to make it look like Mueller had nothing, and also implied they got the documents through hacking Mueller team. Then they posted it on Twitter.

Maddow is talking about this right now on her show.

I realize you are probably being sarcastic, but first we need a government that sees this as a problem. The ones who have the bombs think this is all good or didn't happen.

Don Lemon is also going with the "russian troll farm " story.
Maybe CNN passes a memo along with what story du jour CNN will do all day.

I'd like to see more definition of what exactly this russian troll farm is, is it a loose group of ten people, or an official entity. Otherwise, unless the troll farm is some sort of official entity, why did Mueller have to share his work with the trolls, Then apparently these trolls turned on Mueller by leaking the same documents. I guess this all goes back to alleged Putin backing of Trump.

"Shorter version of what happened: As required by US law, during the discovery process, Mueller shared sensitive documents with the indicted Russian troll farm. Then a Twitter account started posting the files, some of them doctored, to discredit Mueller."

They have discovery rights and hired US attorneys who got discovery. That is why they got the documents. But those US Attorneys may end up getting in trouble for this, and this could limit rights to additional discovery.

Michael Ishikoff said that it was ludicrous that any of the "russian trolls" were
ever going to end up in federal court, and their company Concord Management, really
filed this lawsuit just to see what Mueller had, and blow the altered docs back on him.

Are you saying Concord Management filed a case? I haven't heard about that. The discovery we are talking about is for the case brought by Mueller.

Not the good documents though. The Feds don’t give docs to defendants which implicate national intelligence or national documents. That’s what the defense attorney was howling about in that brief where he quoted Animal House. But that’s par for the course for defendants tried based on foreign intelligence.
